Scholarship Opportunities:

Southwest Florida Scholarship Fund

The Alumni Club of Southwest Florida is excited to have the opportunity to assist local area high school graduates with Ohio State University tuition through the Southwest Florida Scholarship Fund. The Fund was established in 1996 with a gift to The Ohio State University Development Fund from the Alumni Club of Southwest Florida, alumni, and friends.

All gifts are to be invested in the University’s Permanent Endowment Fund, under the rules and regulations adopted by the Board of Trustees of The Ohio State University, with the right to invest and reinvest as occasion dictates.

The annual income shall be used to provide academic merit scholarships to students graduating from area high schools with preference for students qualified under the criteria of the Alumni Scholars Program, interviewed, ranked, and recommended by the Alumni Club of Southwest Florida. Final selection will be made by the University Committee on Student Financial Aid.
