SAC Leadership

	Abby Spangenberg	President Hi! My name is Abby Spangenberg and I’m a fourth-year studying chemical engineering from Sunbury, Ohio. To me, being in SAC means being a part of a legacy so much bigger than ourselves. It’s being a part of a large school with large opportunities, while finding a small community that makes campus feel like home. It’s late nights studying in the SAC office, grabbing coffee with SACers and always being invited to try something new. It’s growth, leadership and dedication; but it’s also passion, comfort and excitement. SAC taught me how to dream big and gave me the courage to make those dreams come true.
	Sheel Patel	Chief of Staff Hi Buckeyes! My name is Sheel Patel and I am a fourth-year aviation engineering major from Northville, Michigan. I am excited to be SAC’s chief of staff this academic year and continue to enhance relationships between students and alumni alike! SAC has been my home away from home during my time here at Ohio State and I cannot wait to give back to an organization that given so much to me. Having a team like the one I do, I know that this year is going to be full of great things and I’m so excited to get started!
	Rachel Ostavitz	Vice President of Membership Hello! My name is Rachel Ostavitz and I’m a third-year majoring in marketing with a minor in hospitality management! I am from a small town about an hour east of Cleveland called Andover, Ohio. As a freshman, Student-Alumni Council instantly welcomed me and made this large campus feel like home to me. As the vice president of membership, I hope to welcome members the same way I have been, while inspiring contributions to our energetic and passionate community. I am excited to see what our organization will accomplish within this upcoming year!
	Meredith Clay	Vice President of Alumni Outreach Hi Buckeyes! My name is Meredith Clay and I am a third-year majoring in history with minors in French and art history. As a lifelong Columbus resident with Ohio State alumni as parents, I have grown up with a love for the Scarlet and Gray! Student-Alumni Council’s mission to preserve Ohio State traditions and cultivate connections between past, current and future students is one that resonates with my love for this university and my love for history. This organization has allowed me to grow alongside the brightest students and meet the most dedicated alumni. I am so excited for the memories to come this year and the future connections that SAC will help foster between students and alumni!
	Leah Wassef	Vice President of Finance Hello! My name in Leah Wassef and I am a third-year studying accounting with a minor in business analytics! I was born and raised in Toledo, OH. I found out about Student-Alumni Council through the involvement fair my freshmen year and upon joining knew that I had discovered a community at Ohio State that would not only last four years, but far after college. I previously served as our research and development lead and now am honored to serve the organization as vice president of finance. It is so exciting being in SAC and giving opportunities for Buckeyes to connect — past, present and future!
	Elana Rubanenko	Vice President of Inclusion & Belonging Hi Buckeyes! My name is Elana and I am a fourth-year studying operations and logistics management from Cleveland, OH. Student-Alumni Council has made Ohio State my home away from home since my first semester, and I cannot be more excited to give back to this incredible community. The second official Inclusion & Belonging committee is amped up and ready to have an incredible school year filled with learning, growth, community building and a whole lot of fun. We are so excited for all that is to come!
	Calvin Schuellerman	Vice President of Student Engagement Hello! My name is Calvin Schuellerman and I am from Hudson, Ohio. I am going into my final year in the nursing program with a minor in pharmaceutical sciences. I am super excited to serve as the VP of student engagement this upcoming year. I can’t wait to give back to an organization and university that has done so much for me! The opportunities we have in SAC to make an impact on campus are unique and continue to grow and flourish. I have grown as a leader within SAC and have met some of my closest friends. I love being a Buckeye and I am thrilled to see what we accomplish next year as I finish out my time here!
	Maddie Seifert	Vice President of Marketing & Communication Hello! My name is Maddie Seifert, from Hudson, OH. I am a third-year studying fashion and retail studies and Spanish. I instantly fell in love with SAC and its direct impact on the Buckeye community both on and off campus. This organization holds some of the most passionate and outstanding leaders on campus, and I am excited to reach new heights alongside them this year. Go Bucks!
