SAC Leadership

Amelia Scheetz

Hi! My name is Amelia Scheetz and I am serving as the 2022-2023 President for the Student-Alumni Council. I am a fourth year student from Gahanna, Ohio majoring in Political Science and Film Studies. Ever since joining SAC, I have found such a wonderful and close community of passionate and kind individuals that has really helped me make OSU my own. SAC holds a very close place in my heart and I cannot wait to see how it grows this year!
Sophia LaBiancoVP of Membership

Hello! My name is Sophia LaBianco, and I am a 4th year from Downers Grove, IL, studying biomedical engineering.  I joined SAC as a freshman and this organization has been one of the most influential college experiences for me.  Through this organization, I have developed as a leader and a person, and most valuably, I have learned the importance of building a strong Ohio State community.  I cannot wait to serve on the executive board as the VP of Membership to help develop the future leaders of SAC!

Paul SchmidtVP of Student Engagement

Hello! My name is Paul Schmidt. I am a 4th year studying Health Science and Biology from Canton, MI. Joining SAC two years ago was the best decision of my college career. I have learned lessons, forged friendships, and made memories that will all last a lifetime. I am so excited to work on this year’s executive board and Student Engagement Committee as we plan programs to enhance the experience of every student at Ohio State and those in our surrounding community!
Ishan GoreVP of Finance

Hey everyone, I’m Ishan Gore. I’m a 4th year majoring in Data Analytics and Physics. I grew up in Worthington, Ohio, so I’ve grown up around the incomparable spirit and culture of OSU and its students. What I like most about SAC is how it embodies the passion and commitment to enhance the OSU experience for all students. Joining SAC has given me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and caring people and has given me some of my best memories. I am so excited to be a part of the board for the Finance committee this year and let me give back to an org that has already given me so much!
Georgia BainVP of Marketing Communication

Hi there! My name is Georgia Bain and I am a 4th year from Granville, OH, studying Psychology and Public Health. Since joining SAC as a sophomore, I have met some of my closest friends, participated in meaningful opportunities, and created lifelong memories. I love the creativity and flexibility that being on the MC Committee allows, and I couldn’t be more excited to serve on this year’s executive board with the best team!
Jared VillalobosExecutive Assistant

Howdy Howdy! My name is Jared Villalobos and I’m a 4th year at Ohio State studying Communication Technology with minors in Music, Media, and Enterprise as well as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Studies. I’m from New Jersey and I didn’t know anyone coming to Ohio State so joining SAC as a Sophomore was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Having a previous PCo position and now an Exec Board position has allowed me to grow individually in ways I never knew I could. I have met my best friends in SAC and I’m so thankful for everything this organization has given me.

No matter what you are looking to gain- professional development, networking, friendship, or even a shirt for game-day- you can get involved with Student-Alumni Council (SAC) by participating in their various student programs or apply to be a member of this 100-plus-member student organization. I am continually impressed by the students involved in SAC and the quality of programs that connect current students with alumni. I am proud to serve as the student organization’s advisor and look forward to seeing you at future events!
As you work toward turning your tassels, know that more than half a million Buckeye alumni are cheering you on. Remember, you are a student for a short time but you are an alum for a lifetime.
