Scholarship Winners!

Congratulations to Priya Matreja, our 2021 scholarship winner.

Priya Matreja recently graduated from South Fayette High School. During high school, she was captain of her school’s tennis team, historian of National Honors Society, national finalist for Future Business Leaders of America, and active participant of Mock Trial. In her free time, Priya works on her henna business where she donates all her proceeds to different charities such as the KDKA Turkey Fundraiser, Toys for Tots, and the Kerala Flood Fundraiser. She also loves to dance and teaches Bharatnatyam, a form of an Indian classical dance, at her studio. In the Autumn 2021 semester, Priya will be attending The Ohio State University as a Neuroscience Major on the premed track! OH-IO!

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Pittsburgh Scholarship fund has been established through the hard work of our club members, the generosity of our donors and the many Buckeye fans and alumni. Our club is proud to provide scholarships to students in the club area, accepted at Ohio State and are committed to attend. Students from the club area may be awarded scholarship money based on the following criteria:

Be admitted to the University.
Record of participation in school, community, extracurricular activities, and academic merit.
Quality of answers to several essay questions.
