We also provide scholarships for future Buckeyes coming from the Philadelphia area. We look forward to seeing you at an event soon!

Officers

Mandi Bucceroni, President

Hello Philly Buckeyes! I am a proud Buckeye fan born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business. I currently work as an immigration lawyer. I have been serving on the board of the Philly Buckeyes since I graduated. If I am not at a game watch, then I am in the stadium cheering on the Buckeyes!

Dexter Volpe, VP of Programming

Hello Everyone and GO Bucks!

My name is Dex Volpe and I am the Vice President in charge of Programming for our Philly Buckeyes. I am also happily married for almost 31 years and have three wonderful children and now the proud grandparent of three grandchildren!

As loyal Buckeye alum, I grew up in the shadows of Ohio State, being a second generation graduate from the ‘big farm’! You talk about love for our school; I attended my first Ohio State vs TTUN football game at the age of FIVE! I have ‘strongly disliked’ them since then! I am also proud to share that my youngest son Ryan is also a graduate of The Ohio State University. That’s correct … THREE generations of the Volpe family Buckeye alums!

As Director of People Development for The Rose Group, one of the largest restaurant franchise organizations in the United States, I understand engagement. I always strive to appeal to our team and our alums memories of the great times that they had on Campus. Appealing to those cherished memories in their heart as to why they want to stay connected to our great University is something that I am proud to be a part of daily, both in my personal life and with The Philly Buckeyes!

Kelly & Craig Eidell, Membership and Treasurer

We are originally from northwest Pennsylvania about 100 miles east of Cleveland, in Erie Pa. We relocated to Philadelphia in 2008 and have been a part of the alumni association ever since. Currently, Kelly is in charge of membership and Craig is the club’s treasurer.

Kelly (class of ’86) owns and operates a clothing design and instruction studio. She is also a teacher in the Great Valley School district in Malvern, Pa. Kelly chose The Ohio State at a very young age so her love for all things Buckeye’s run deep.

Craig (class of “married a buckeye”) works in regulation of the financial services industry in Philadelphia, Pa. Despite his lack of alumni status, Craig bleeds Scarlet & Grey.

If you can’t find us at the game watches, then we are in the stands at the Shoe, Go Buckeyes!

Peter Guth, Scholarship Chair

img_0041I grew up in Northeastern Ohio and have been a lifelong Buckeye fan. My mother attended Ohio State followed by my sister and me. I moved to Philadelphia upon graduating with a Bachelors in Business Administration. My adult life has been spent in the Delaware Valley and it is great to have other Buckeyes in the area that share the tradition and spirit that comes with being a Buckeye. My wife (not a Buckeye) and I even had the pleasure of attending the game where Woody dotted the “i” and I can remember our son’s face when he attended his first Kickoff Classic at the age of seven…

I have served as the Scholarship Chairman for the last 11 years and it has been great to see the caliber of students from the Philadelphia area that have chosen to attend Ohio State.

Golf, travel, bridge and volunteering fill up much of my free time since I retired a few years ago. It is an unbelievable experience to hear the words, GO BUCKS, in cities ranging from Dubai to Sydney or New York. Of course, nothing beats being in Columbus on game day.
