Scholarships

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Los Angeles (OSULA) Scholarship fund has been established through the hard work of our club members, the generosity of our donors and the many Buckeye fans and alumni. Our club is proud to provide scholarships to students in Los Angeles who are accepted at Ohio State and are committed to attend.

Students from Los Angeles may be awarded scholarship money based on the following criteria:

  • Admittance to the University
  • Record of participation in school, community, extracurricular activities, and academic merit
  • Quality of answers to several essay questions
  • Potential interview with one or more of our Scholarship Committee members

STUDENT RECRUITMENT

Throughout the year, OSULA represents Ohio State at several college fairs around Los Angeles.  We pass out Ohio State literature and answer the questions of potential new Buckeyes.

Fairs are generally held on weekday evenings.  It’s easy, Ohio State provides ‘facts and answers sheets’, and we always send you with others who have done it before.

For more information, please contact the OSULA scholarship committee at LAClub@osu.edu.
