Contact Form

Your site comes pre-configured with a contact page. This page displays a form to your visitors allowing them to send an email message through the website without exposing your email address. By default, the contact page is located at http://yoursite.edu/about/contact.

You can customize the form or add additional contact forms from the Contact screen in the administration menu. From the Contact Forms list, select the form to edit. The default form is named “Contact form.” On the Edit Contact Form screen, You will see the form’s “short code.” It is a string of text surrounded by opening and closing brackets. You can copy and paste this code into any page or post to embed the form there.

Beneath the short code is the form body. Unlike the visual editor, the contact form must be edited using a combination of raw HTML and special tags representing the different form fields. For complete details on customizing your contact form, see the documentation. The email address that receives form submissions can be configured in the Mail section using the “To:” field.

Once you are happy with your edits, click the Save button at the top of the edit page to save the form.
