A blog is a web site on which an individual or organization publishes regular content, often opinions or links to other sites. Your group can create a blog on your site by using posts and categories.
To add a new blog post, open the Posts > Add New screen from the administration menu. Create your post, adding the content you would like to discuss. When you are ready to publish the story, make sure to select the Blog category from the categories section. Posts in the Blog category will appear on the category listing at http://yoursite.edu/category/blog.
For posts that should “go live” on a particular day, you can add a publishing date in the Publish section of the edit screen. Click the edit link next to “Publish Immediately” to enter a future publish date.
