Resources for Alumni Volunteers

Alumni Club Scholarship Information

ADMISSIONS WILL PARTNER WITH OSUAA
Admissions is partnering with the Alumni Scholars Program again this year. They will send information about the scholarship program in recruitment materials to interested students, accepted students in December and January and to High School counselors. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, alumni and club volunteers are not to visit high schools. If you usually work with area high school counselors, do so virtually (email, phone) for the coming year.

SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEWS
If your club has in-person interviews, plan now to change to virtual, do not wait to the last minute to make the change. If your city, county or state allows in-person contact, the club must offer options for those who do not wish to or can’t be interviewed in-person. As well, some scholarship committee volunteers may also wish to interview virtually and not appear in-person. Our Advancement Events Team and Alumni House Events Team can help you with a virtual interview if needed.

ACT SAT
Students are not required to have an ACT or SAT score to be accepted to Ohio State for 2021 because of inability to take the tests due to COVID-19. Considering this action by Admissions and to prevent bias, I have removed the ACT and SAT scores field from the ASP application.

REMINDER
Counselor recommendations and transcripts are no longer part of the Alumni Scholars Program.
