Statement regarding club and society in-person events

The health, safety and wellbeing of our Buckeye community has been, and always will be, our top priority. With that focus, we are asking that all events and board meetings continue to be held virtually until further notice. Your group should maintain this position until we can provide more thorough guidance around in-person events. Our team is working closely with leadership and university partners to ensure any guidance provided follows top safety and health standards.

If an event cannot be translated to a virtual experience, your group must speak with your Regional Engagement Officer or Society Liaison prior to the planning process of the event. If event planning is already in progress, please reach out to your REO/Society Liaison now to discuss it. If an in-person event can move forward, all local and state rules must be followed, and your group should follow all best practices provided by state and federal health agencies.

Students will not be able to attend any in-person events with clubs and societies for the foreseeable future. A virtual event with students will be approved. We will let you know when students can attend in-person events.

Again, we will provide more detailed in-person event guidance as soon as possible.
