Support new Emergency Medicine students in memory of former grad, Dr. Linda Robinson

Dr. Linda Robinson was a graduate of the College of Medicine (MD 1986) and of Ohio State’s Emergency Medicine Residency training program (1989). After beginning her medical career at Case Western Reserve University Hospital as an instructor and AIRCARE Flight physician, she returned to The Ohio State University Medical Center as one of the founding physicians of the hyperbaric program. Prior to her death in May 2017, she worked and taught for over 20 years in Florida at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department. Linda was beloved by her colleagues as well as her many residents and medical students, some of whom are now faculty members in academic centers across the U.S.

When she died in 2017, too early and too young, Linda’s husband Tom generously established the Linda Hom Robinson, MD, Emergency Medicine Endowment Scholarship Fund.

Now, you can join Tom in helping to bring Linda’s legacy to the finest of our College of Medicine graduates. Please consider investing in the future of our Emergency Medicine program by making a financial contribution.

Your gift will help us award an initial scholarship this year to a fourth-year student who has matched with the Ohio State residency program. The initial scholarship will be more than $2,000, with future awards of up to $4,500. We can only make this happen with your help.
