Event Recap: Cleveland Alumni Cup Golf Outing

We hosted the Cleveland Alumni Cup on August 27, 2021, at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. This annual golf outing is our signature fundraiser to help provide scholarship opportunities to Ohio State students from the Greater Cleveland area.

Featured guests included Ohio State football greats and former NFL players Jimmy Laughlin (Brush High School) and Tom Orosz (Fairport Harbor High School) who shared many stories about their days playing for Woody Hayes.

Hole sponsors were game watch locations Dive Bar, Grindstone Tap House, The Ohio Inn, and Parma Tavern, as well as Lakewood Truck Park.

We concluded the evening by singing “Carmen, Ohio.”
